... and we're back!

I finally get some time to breathe. It's funny because another teacher at work said to me today, 'Hey look! You have energy again'. It wasn't until she said this that I realised how not fun the past months have been. When I see that the other teachers get to go home at their own pace and relax I get jealous cuz I have 20 minutes to get to the studio, only to work another 6 hours before I get to go home. Ugh. I guess I can't really complain because I chose this lifestyle, but man, sometimes I just want to quit everything and be happy with what I have... but then I remember that I don't want to live at home forever. hehehe.

The huge stress of the Christmas Recital at the studio is over, and the School Winter Celebration is finally done too. Between the teachers at the studio cancelling, getting sick and being out of town, I was finding that I was at my witts end. As a treat to myself, I decided to put in a video for the last week of school so that I could at least have sometime to catch up with myself. The days pass by so much faster when you have entertainment for the kids and they are fully engaged... with the TV :)

The studio finally has it's 4th room, and we finally have 'stuff' up on the walls (thanks to JAckson). I'm still looking for guitar/piano/voice/violin teachers, so if you know anyone, send them my way. Thanks!

Went shopping with Drew on Sunday. I had the tendency to buy 2 thing for someone else, and 1 thing for myself in each store... not the best philosophy for Christmas shopping, but hey... I've been working so much that I been saving tons since I have no time to spend it... technically, I should be entitled to spend a portion of that cuz it normally wouldn't be there anyways:P

Over the Christmas break I have to learn how to use my MAc... I am going to pick up Dreamweaver and some other program that is like Photoshop... oh yeah, and Garage Band. Everyone at school makes fun of me because I type fast... it's not very nice. I hate using Macs... it's so opposite from the PC... I keep trying to right click and ctrl c this and home and end that and shift F7 for the thesaurus... man, you dont' realise how much you use them until they're gone. Now I have to retrain myself for the new shortcut keys.
