Dedicated to JAckson

Well... today marks the first day in a while that I have been bored enough to check up on people's blog and ultimately update my own. Yeah, I guess you can take credit for inspiring me to update my own.

Today is Jackson's birthday so I was instructed -ahem, I mean... I chose to come home to have dinner with my brother. Who would've ever known that it is so hard to stay awake this long. I am so tired, my back is killing me, I'm hungry, we have no TV to watch, and I just want to sleep. Yes, I'm getting old... but Jackson is even older than I am! Yes, this blog is dedicated to my dear brother, Jackson. Happy Birthday.

I dread Wednesdays. Wednesdays are the day that I have choir practice with my Grades 4-6's. They have such attitute problems and are so... pre-teen! It's awful. We're preparing for a performance at Southcentre Mall on March 21st at 1:45pm so if you want to come see them you're welcomed to.

On another note, today the grade 1's came to music with two fingers up their nose... One of the very boys said to me, 'Miss Chan, is it me? Or does something smell really bad?'. It was an honest question that he was asking. I tried to avoid the question and then tried to change the topic really quickly. Unfortunately, when you're only 6 years old, you tend to stay focused on one thing at a time. One of the other boys continued to talk to me saying 'I don't know who it is exactly Miss Chan, but it's the person sitting in the back with the orange shirt on.' There was only 1 person in the back and only 1 person with an orange shirt on. Man, I felt so bad for him... but it really did stink like poo. Exactly like poo. I am confident that it was poo. It was bad. It was strong and you could smell it even if you were half way across the room. It was then, that I was grateful that I am not a grade 1 teacher. I dont' think I could deal with it...
