This world...

This world is an evil place. I don't like it... It seems to unfair to live in it and try to be nice when noone else even cares about playing by the same rules.

Apparently our sign for piano lessons got blown over today/last night. It wasn't even windy. Our sandwich board is a triangle, with quite a big angle so that the wind can't blow it over. We also added a huge block of cement to the bottom portion to hold the thing down so that in case of heavy wind, it wouldn't be blown over. I'm not sure what to think anymore... last time I thought it was an evil neighbour, they told me I was just paranoid... I found out last week that I wasn't paranoid and that there are just plain mean people out there. Those people I don't like. I don't like the thought of how when push comes to pull, everyone will be pushing and pulling just to get it their way. What an awful thing to think about eh? I try not to think of it, but I can't help it sometimes... A pessimistic view? Yes, but a realistic one.... It's hard to be tough in business, when you just want everyone to get along and be nice... hmpf...

Is it only Monday? That sucks... today I stayed at school until 6pm. It would've been later, but I made up some excuse so I could leave... I just didn't think that it was making effective use of my time there... then I got home and ate... and sat, and thought... nothing to look forward to... not tomorrow... not the next day... I can't wait until June... I can't wait even a month from now.... I have things to be excited about, but no time to be excited... My goal is to go to bed by 9:45 tonight... Aside from worship, this is the next best refresher for me right now. Blogging comes third :P HAHA.... I haven't had time to keep up with any of the blogs... people just keep talking about it, but I tell ya, it's not the same effect.

I think it's better to be realistic than stupidly naive with optimistic fluff. No, it's not fair, but think of all the kids who starve in Africa, and the genocide that goes around there.

But what are you going to do about it? Set your students up for this world! And prepare them for a tough place :) But, don't make them pessamists. Help them to see the world as it is, but still be positive about it.

In any case, why not spray bear repellant on your sign. Then, if anyone knocks it over, and later itches their face and eyes, or better yet, plays with their privates... heh heh heh... yeah. JUSTICE SERVED BABY!!

j/k. Revenge is the Lord's. I hope you find comfort in that.

I think... being a complete jerk and being completely selfish can take you far in this world. However, it gets you nowhere in eternity. So stay patient, stay righteous... and you might not win it all and it might be a hard road ahead, but at least you know you lived your life the best you could .
I'm sure your piano company will blossom in its own time, it might not be right away, but I'm sure it will.
