teacher syndrome
Jon said that I had signs of it last winter when we were coming back from snowboarding and I saw a small cave in one of the mountains that we were driving by. "Oooo, look at that cave, Jon! it's so... neat!!!" Apparently, teacher vocabulary includes the word "neat".
Today, I got great joy out of buying used children's books... it somehow made my day... how lame is that. Yesterday, I found some post-it sticky notes that I didn't use and just chucked it somewhere in my room... it brought me great joy to find it again. In September, I was going crazy with all the back-to-school sales... I bought pens that made my day, and binders that made my week... no, month! I actually spent money on buying an agenda this year! What is going on?!?! Ahhh.... I guess this is what teacher life is all about...
Well, it's been a while since my last update. Actually, I must confess something... I have another blog... yep, I've been cheating on you guys... my loyal fans... I don't think that many of you will appreciate my new blog though... only those of you who truly love number crunching will fully utilize this site. Ready??? It's a math blog... HAHA... I made one for my grade 5/6 students.
